Hydra v2 cuts the median claim settlement from 9.9 to 4.4 seconds
One head settled the last stretch of the Glacier Drop claim window in October 2025, carrying 3.5 billion NIGHT over nine days on 10 nodes. The team that ran it replayed 24,576 claims on 0.22.4 and the current release: median throughput rose from 42 to 79 a second, and a claim settled in 4.4 seconds instead of 9.9. A v2 head opens without a commit phase and takes deposits while running.
